Jane GiffordThe Jane Gifford is home

The Jane Gifford was ceremoniously relaunched on the 16th May 2009 and was welcomed back to the Mahurangi by hundreds of people lining the river when she docked at her new home in Warkworth.

As stunning as she looks, funding is still required to finish her completely. She is now moored at the Warkworth Wharf and is available to the public for charters, educational trips, special occasions and as a training ship.

The sails have been rigged, and the crew are undergoing sail training in preparation for running public sailing trips based on the Mahurangi Harbour, as well as continuing the River trips which have proven so popular.
